It is always special for us to be invited by new parents to join in the care of a new baby. The continuity of care and the amazement of watching a baby grow and develop into a wonderful child is one of the primary reasons that we all feel privileged to work in pediatrics.

We understand the importance of choosing the right pediatrician and the right pediatric office for your family. To help with this process, we welcome you to schedule a free prenatal visit to meet with one of our doctors, hear more about our practice and receive a tour of our office. At this visit, we will review the family’s birth plan and postpartum wishes, including breast vs bottle-feeding, circumcision, and more.

Welcome to the world!

Once your baby is born, you simply need to notify the hospital staff that you have chosen Premier Pediatrics to provide your baby's pediatric healthcare. If you deliver at either Women's and Children's or Lafayette General Hospital, our office will be immediately notified. It is then our responsibility to have one of our pediatricians come to the hospital within the first 24 hours after birth to examine your newborn and to answer any questions you may have regarding your new baby.
